At Cartoos Car World, we specialize in premium off-roading gears, flood lights, spot lights, and accessories from trusted brands like Steel, Kings, and Lightforce. We strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. This Return and Refund Policy outlines our terms for returns, refunds, replacements, and related matters. It forms part of our overall Terms of Service and Shipping & Pickup Policy (incorporated herein by reference).
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. General Policy – All Sales Final
• All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, cancellations, or refunds for reasons such as:
• Change of mind
• Incorrect selection (size, model, colour, specification)
• Change in requirements after purchase
• Buyer’s remorse
• Any other non-defect related reason
This is standard for specialized automotive and off-roading products to prevent misuse and ensure fair operations.
2. Exceptions – When Returns/Replacements Are Accepted
We accept returns or replacements only in the following limited cases, in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:
• Manufacturing defect or malfunction – Reported within the 5-year manufacturer’s warranty period (from date of delivery/pickup).
• Damage during transit – Visible external damage, breakage, or missing parts, reported within 48 hours of receiving the parcel (with clear photos/videos of the packaging and product).
• Wrong/different item delivered – Item received does not match the order (wrong product/model), reported within 48 hours of delivery.
3. Return/Replacement Process

2. We will review your claim within 48 hours (acknowledgement provided) and respond with approval/rejection or further instructions.
3. If approved:
• For transit damage/wrong item: We arrange pickup (at our cost where feasible) or guide you on return shipping.
• For warranty claims (after initial 48-hour window): Customer may need to ship the item to us (return shipping usually at customer’s cost unless proven transit fault).
4. Upon receipt and inspection:
• Defective/damaged/wrong items will be repaired, replaced, or (in rare cases where replacement is not possible) store credit issued.
• No cash refunds except where mandatorily required by law (e.g., proven non-delivery or fundamental breach).
5. Replacement/repair timeline: 7–15 business days after we receive and verify the returned item.
4. Non-Returnable/Non-Refundable Items
• Opened/used products (unless defective)
• Custom-ordered or personalized items
• Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, accident, negligence, or normal wear and tear
• Items returned without original packaging, accessories, invoice, or tags (where applicable)
5. Refunds (When Applicable)
• Refunds (if approved) are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay/UPI within 7–10 business days after approval and receipt of returned item.
• We do not refund shipping charges (outbound or return) unless the issue is solely our fault (e.g., wrong item shipped).
• Partial refunds or store credit may apply in certain cases.
6. Order Cancellation
• Prepaid orders can be cancelled only before dispatch (usually within 24 hours of placement).
• Cancellation requests after dispatch are not accepted.
• No cancellation charges for valid pre-dispatch cancellations.
7. Important Notes
• Always inspect your parcel upon delivery. For courier deliveries, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and refuse if severely damaged.
• Warranty claims follow the manufacturer’s process; we assist as your point of contact.
• We pack products securely for safe transit, but off-roading lights and gears are heavy/delicate—handle with care.
• This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Indian law (e.g., right to replacement/refund for defective goods).
